Ingredients
SERVES 4
– 350 g oat grains
– 350 g black lentils
– 1 onion minced
– 1 leek cut into rounds
– 2 carrots diced
– EVO to taste
– salt to taste
Directions
Fill a pot with abundant salted water and cook the oat grains for ab. 45 minutes, once cooked, drain and set the oat aside to cool. Meanwhile sauté the onion with a tablespoon of EVO, add lentils and cover with water. Let it cook for ab. 60 minutes over low flame. When lentils are almost cooked add in carrots and leek.
Finally, add in the oat, salt to taste and let cook for 2-3 more minutes while stirring. Serve hot.
