– 250 g oat grains
– 3 carrots finely chopped
– 2 zucchinis finely chopped
– 3 ripe tomatoes finely chopped
– half-onion finely chopped
– a few basil leaves
– EVO to taste
– salt to taste
– 1-½ chilli pepper chopped
Fill a pot with abundant salted water and cook the oat grains for ab. 45 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set the oat aside to cool. Meanwhile, place all of the vegetables – carrots, zucchinis, tomatoes, onion and basil – in a salad bowl.
Then, add in the oat grains, and dress with salt, EVO and the chilli pepper.
Garnish with some basil leaves to taste just before serving.
